The only specimens I have. Don't want to bias before you make the call so I won't tell where each set is from.

These were scanned on my flatbed and lined up meticulously in photoshop before final image was downsampled to 2MB JPEG. (You'll note C8NE 3-1 is chopped. That was a photoshop error!)

I downloaded this jpeg to my desktop to see how it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised at 2MB at 75% it still renders pretty nicely on my monitor.

1950? Reprints are on bright paper, so the PRC authorities certainly were familiar with paper differences way before the 1964 issues. Got ahead of myself. Correction needed in Williams but for quite some time many in America and elsewhere assumed the reprints were not postally valid.
