I was told that this post office may have only been open for a very short time, maybe even just one day.
I am attaching the cover and some scans of the China cancels. Any information you can provide on this cover would be appreciated.
I think this cover was mailed via Lagos and on to Miami and then on to Canada.
I am mostly interested in the 2 China cancels.
I believe the cover was mailed from Xi Ji according to the person who transalted it for me.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: China 1943 cover to USA
Hi,
The cancels in Chinese are Chiki, Anhwei (安徽,績溪). They indicate that the letter was mailed from Chiki. Chiki was not occupied by the Japanese during the War, Mails from there to a foreign destination need to go through areas controled by the Nationalists.
The letter was transfered in Kweilin and likely flew via the hump route. Total postage should be $11.7 for a registered mial under 5 gram. (It would be $20.4 for 10 gram.)
