Re: Forgeries Manchukuo

Unfortunately the four nice stamps Kerr Kerr 184.57-60 / Yang NE348-351 from "drbobstamps" are forgeries (not just "hinged") ...

Re: Forgeries Liberated Area (LA)

Interesting forgery from an eBay seller located (as so often) in USA: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-China-Proof-Stamp/173060438231 The forgery is "better" as usual as they tried this time to copy a real design (Pos 7 of the left part of the large sheet 2 x 9 stamps) In real the stamp looks dramatica...

Re: The Commemoratives

George, how about this one (Kerr 167). This cover I find in some ways interesting, first of all it helps us to find the correct location of this stamp issue (it was Pingshan (平山), Binjiang Province (濱江省) and not somewhere Liaoning) and it prove this issue was really in commercial use and not a bogus...

Re: Kerr 147.3-4, 3 or 4 different types?

Very nice! Thank you for sharing! I missed the left Type B. If you have any copy to share please let me know! :)

Wonder what was the reason to use three (possible four) different chops? Also some of them are unknown to be ever postally used.

Re: Forgeries Manchukuo

As long the forgeries comes with such a "quality" we don't need really to worry about.

But the bad point, there are still always buyers at eBay who are willing to pay up to 100.- USD for stupid fakes, so the fake-business never stops ... :(

Kerr 147.3-4, 3 or 4 different types?

Do we have for this issue 3 or 4 different chops?

Or in other hand, what types we have here?

Re: Unlisted Set

HI Simon,

that's a good question! I have many of them as well (seems they are not rare) and many of them are used. But always with and unreadable cancel.

For the red overprint I have a set which includes 15 different values!

I will try to get more information.
