Scott correlation

Dear Friends,

I'm looking for the Mike Rogers' Chan/Scott catalogue correlations. The old Roger's website isn't functional. And I just called Kelleher to see if they could still fill orders, but Max Wender said they're no longer available.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Re: PRC C2 4-4

I agree. On Philachina, there is obvious difference between their original C2NE 4-4 and reprint C2NE 4-4. The original has more vertical lines than the reprint, as you have clearly demonstrated. I'll also concede that the copy I returned to nystamps looks a heck of a lot like the original at Philachi...

Re: PRC C2 4-4

@Archie sorry I meant C2NE @Roman Thanks for the Philachina link. The resolution is fairly high once you click on the individual pictures. To your point, their original C2NE 4-4 looks like a lot like a reprint to me as well. Almost none of the vertical lines reach the top of the rostrum, particularl...

PRC C2 4-4

Dear Friends, Can anyone post a high-res scan of their original print C2 4-4? I bought a copy off ebay nystamps last month but returned because fewer lines were hitting the top. Shouldn't the vertical lines on the rostrum hit the top just like 4-3? Now he's selling another copy which looks kind of l...

Re: Peonies

Archie, I'm a full time ophthalmologist and father to three young girls (aged 3, 6, & 8). Between running a practice, surgery, homework, and shuffling the kids to and fro, I don't have large chunks of free time. So I won't be headlining any scholarly philatelic work anytime soon, but I would definit...

Re: Peonies

Archie, I didn't realize that this was such an interesting discovery. As for writing this up, I'm way out of my league. The amount of historical research to put together a truly insightful article for the Clipper is very daunting. I have the prose, but lack the time and access to references/sources ...

C8

The only specimens I have. Don't want to bias before you make the call so I won't tell where each set is from. C8.jpg These were scanned on my flatbed and lined up meticulously in photoshop before final image was downsampled to 2MB JPEG. (You'll note C8NE 3-1 is chopped. That was a photoshop error!)...

Re: Peonies

That's my concern. Just wanted to see what everybody else's looked like. Side by side with the non-fluorescent issues, perforation & print at 20X mag is perfect, gum is perfect. I'd be surprised a forger would waste such tremendous skill on such a low value. I'm wondering if there were different run...
